(المادة 114)
يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تقل عن ثلاثة أشهر ولا تجاوز ستة أشهر أو بغرامة لا تقل عن ألف جنيه ولا تزيد على خمسة آلاف جنيه ، كل من سلم إليه طفل وأهمل في أداء أحد واجباته إذا ترتب على ذلك ارتكاب الطفل جريمة أو تعرضه للخطر في إحدى الحالات المبينة في هذا القانون .
وتكون العقوبة الحبس مدة لا تقل عن ستة أشهر ولا تجاوز سنة وغرامة لا تقل عن ألفي جنيه ولا تزيد على خمسة آلاف جنيه أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين ، إذا كان ذلك الفعل ناشئًا عن إخلال جسيم بواجباته .
ويسري حكم الفقرة الثانية من المادة (113) من هذا القانون على المخالف لأحكام الفقرتين الأولى والثانية من هذه المادة .
Article 114
Anyone who is entrusted with a child and neglects to perform one of his duties shall be punished by imprisonment for a period of not less than three months and not exceeding six months, or by a fine of not less than one thousand pounds and not exceeding five thousand pounds, if this results in the child committing a crime or being exposed to danger in one of the cases specified in this law.
The penalty shall be imprisonment for a period of not less than six months and not exceeding one year, and a fine of not less than two thousand pounds and not exceeding five thousand pounds, or one of these two penalties, if that act resulted from a serious breach of his duties.
The provisions of paragraph two of Article (113) of this Law shall apply to anyone who violates the provisions of paragraphs one and two of this Article.
