لكل طفل الحق في الحصول على خدمات الرعاية الصحية والاجتماعية وعلاج الأمراض، وتتخذ الدولة كافة التدابير لضمان تمتع جميع الأطفال بأعلى مستوى ممكن من الصحة.
وتكفل الدولة تزويد الوالدين والطفل وجميع قطاعات المجتمع بالمعلومات الأساسية المتعلقة بصحة الطفل وتغذيته ومزايا الرضاعة الطبيعية ومبادئ حفظ الصحة وسلامة البيئة والوقاية من الحوادث، والمساعدة في الإفادة من هذه المعلومات.
كما تكفل الدولة للطفل، في جميع المجالات، حقه في بيئة صالحة وصحية ونظيفة، واتخاذ جميع التدابير الفعالة لإلغاء الممارسات الضارة بصحته.
Article 7 bis
Every child has the right to health and social care services and treatment for illnesses, and the State shall take all measures to ensure that all children enjoy the highest possible standard of health.
The State shall ensure that parents, children, and all sectors of society are provided with basic information relating to child health and nutrition, the benefits of breastfeeding, principles of health and environmental safety, accident prevention, and assistance in making use of this information.
The State also guarantees the child, in all areas, his right to a safe, healthy and clean environment, and takes all effective measures to eliminate practices harmful to his health.
