(المادة 50)
فيما عدا ما ورد في شأنه نص خاص في قانون المرور ، لا يجوز منح الطفل ترخيصًا بقيادة مركبة آلية .
ومع عدم الإخلال بحكم المادة 101 من هذا القانون، يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على ثلاثة أشهر وبغرامة لا تقل عن خمسين جنيها ولا تزيد على مائة جنيه أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين كل طفل قاد مركبة آلية بغير ترخيص.
ومع عدم الإخلال بأحكام قانون المرور يعاقب بذات العقوبة كل من أجر للطفل أو مكنه على أي نحو من قيادة مركبة آلية، ويجوز للمحكمة إيقاف رخصة المركبة لمدة لا تزيد على ثلاثة أشهر، وإيقاف رخصة المكان المخصص للتأجير لنفس المدة، وفي حالة العود يجب الحكم بإلغاء رخصة المكان أو غلقه إن لم يكن مرخصًا به.
Article 50
Except as otherwise provided in the Traffic Law, a child may not be granted a license to drive a motor vehicle.
Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 101 of this Law, any child who drives a motor vehicle without a license shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months and by a fine of not less than fifty pounds and not more than one hundred pounds, or by one of these two penalties.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the Traffic Law, the same penalty shall be imposed on anyone who rents to a child or enables him in any way to drive a motor vehicle. The court may suspend the vehicle license for a period not exceeding three months, and suspend the license of the place designated for rental for the same period. In case of recidivism, the court must rule to cancel the license of the place or close it if it is not licensed.
