(المادة 54)
التعليم حق لجميع الأطفال في مدارس الدولة بالمجان.
وتكون الولاية التعليمية على الطفل للحاضن، وعند الخلاف على ما يحقق مصلحة الطفل الفضلى يرفع أي من ذوي الشأن الأمر إلى رئيس محكمة الأسرة، بصفته قاضيًا للأمور الوقتية، ليصدر قراره بأمر على عريضة، مراعيًا مدى يسار ولي الأمر، وذلك دون المساس بحق الحاضن في الولاية التعليمية.
Article 54
Education is a right for all children in state schools free of charge.
Educational guardianship of the child rests with the custodian. In case of disagreement regarding what is in the best interest of the child, any interested party may refer the matter to the head of the Family Court, in his capacity as judge of urgent matters, to issue a decision by way of an order upon petition, taking into account the financial means of the guardian, without prejudice to the custodian's right to educational guardianship.
